Since the global economic meltdown of 2008 and 2009, a number of economists around the world have begun to argue that the American-style model of capitalism is fundamentally flawed, and that the economic excesses exposed in 2008 and 2009 were reflective of a broken system badly in need of repair. On the other hand, despite the acknowledged excesses of the American system, do you believe that there is a better alternative?
