Write about what you just read, what you think the author was trying to say. Maybe evaluate whether the author communicated their ideas well, what you understood, or didn't
understand. Think about examples, counter-examples, what the ideas mean in terms of consequences, in particular circumstances. You can certainly go back and pick out one or two
quotes that you want to write about. I just want you to freewrite a page about the reading.
I read these just to see that you are engaging the ideas in your own way, so there are no
wrong answers.
