Using/engaging with at least two of the assigned theories/texts, analyze a performance or mode of performance, such as a fashion show, wedding, performance art event, church ritual, striptease show, or theatre production. Your paper must have a thesis, that is, an argument that you support with specific citations from the performance and texts. You may support your claims by arguing against and/or for positions expressed in the required readings. Either way, you must engage directly with the texts, often quoting them and analyzing them in relation to your chosen performance/subject matter of investigation.
