Analyzing Key Messages

In order for a campaign to succeed, it needs to be able to effectively spread its message to the public. If the consumer does not understand the advertiser's intention, he or she is unlikely to buy the product or service.
For this Discussion, think about several marketing campaigns that you have found to be particularly effective or ineffective. Consider what made their key messages a success or failure.

• Describe what elements make for effective and creative messages in a campaign.
• Provide an example of a message from a real-life IMC campaign. Explain whether it is effective or ineffective and why.
