Aspects of project time management

You mention in your post the many aspects of project time management. For your individual project how do you have this information organized? Are you utilizing a GANTT chart or action plan, or some other type of checklist?
If you look in your book at Page 253. Table 13:3, shows a DNP project plan and timeline. These types of action plans help the project manager to determine objectives, action items, resources, and time expectations. I even add a column that identifies responsibility, so everyone knows which team member has ownership over each task. This type of organizational strategy supports project management and provides a framework for the actions you have completed and have yet to complete. I use this strategy daily in my work practice. I have extra columns that identify completion, a column that identifies which department, and a column for comments. My actions plans are always electronic, but can be printed out. The point of it being electronic is that I can easily modify and add tasks as they come up.
What strategy are you using?
