Do NOT write one continuous essay, but instead write each question and answer it one at a time. You are required to research other articles and include at least 5 references. Please remember to provide both in-text citation and also a list of references in the last page (APA style). Here are some additional guidelines on how you can answer each question: Question 1: Give an overview of the case, and describe the main problems. Question 2: Come up with an objective for each level, then define SMART at each level. Back up your ideas by bringing in external sources. Here is an example of how to break it down: Individual level Objective: Dr. Grantt will do XYZ Specific:_____? Measurable: _____? Achievable: _____? Realistic: ______? Time bound: _____ ? Team Level Objective: Increase team buy-in to XYZ Specific:_____? Measurable: _____? Achievable: _____? Realistic: ______? Time bound: _____ ? System Level Objective: Discover significant operational problems in XYZ Specific:_____? Measurable: _____? Achievable: _____? Realistic: ______? Time bound: _____ ? Question 3: There isn't ONE right answer to this question, you can use your own ideas on how you think Dr. Grantt could have avoided the current situation. But be sure to back up your ideas by providing references. For instance, you can talk about a particular case from a different hospital that you may have read on an article and compare what they did that worked for them, so you can make those suggestions. Question 4: You can include concepts from this chapter, for example the Strategic Problem Solving. ©
