Research what a concept map is and create one for this project. You have been given the monumental task of
creating a brand new serology lab for your state. Where do you begin?!? One good way to demonstrate the
relationships between things and the layers of connectivity, process and outline is by creating a concept map.
Include all of the testing methods you would implement for a new working lab. As an example to get you
started – you might choose LMG presumptive testing under your “BLOOD” arm of the map and under LMG, you
may want to list out the quality parameters you’d need to implement like training or contamination control.
This is your final project and therefore, it should be comprehensive and contain elements of everything you
learned through out the 8 weeks of class. Creativity, technical completeness and accuracy as well as style and
appearance will be considered.
