Creating a literature review

create a literature review. There are many different ways to complete a literature review but the one we are recommending is very structured to help you stay organized.

First, pick a topic to complete your literature review about. The topic can be one of the following themes from this course, or something that you researched on your own that is already impacting your work and perspective. Some of the themes we have covered in this course are: identity, culture, culturally responsive teaching and equity.
Second, complete the Literature Review Planning Form (Figure 3.3 on page 44). On the Planning Form you will review the area you've selected as the focus for your action research list priority achievement targets, list strategies tested by educators.
Third, still using the Planning Form you will follow the steps on how to utilize effective searches on the internet so that you can fill in the two tables at the bottom where you will list and reorder data collected on strategies and impact, from what you found.
