Cryp Code

Cryp Code is a new firm that has recently been contracted by the FBI and CIA to write security programs for their computer systems. All of the programmers who work for Cryp Code must qualify for a security clearance before they can go to work. This means that Cryp Code is currently short-handed as the company tries to find qualified programmers. The company staff works in a secure office area where they develop and test computer code and programs. When programmers are working in the FBI and CIA headquarters, they need secure remote access to their company’s servers on which they develop computer code. This enables them to view program design documents, research notes, program flow charts, and program source files. Cryp Code uses Windows Server 2016 servers, and the programmers use Windows 10 client computers. Because they are short-staffed, Cryp Code has retained Aspen Consulting to implement remote access communications. As the only consultant who already has a security clearance, you have been chosen to work with Cryp Code. #1 : VPN Issues: The partners who own Cryp Code are interested in having you install a VPN, but first they want to know more about VPN structural elements. The partners are programmers and not operating system experts, and this is why they want to know more. Create a white paper, slide show, or both to discuss the following elements of a Windows Server 2016 VPN server: Remote access protocols, IP addressing, considerations, Remote access policies, Authentication, and Encryption #2: VPN Tools and Installation: The partners are also interested in having you include in your presentation the following information about a Windows Server 2016 VPN: What tools are available for configuring and managing a VPN? What are the general steps required to install a VPN? # 3: Troubleshooting a VPN Problem: You have installed and configured the VPN without difficulty. However, when you test it remotely you cannot connect because no VPN server seems to be available. What steps do you take to troubleshoot the problem? #4: Addressing a Security Need: The CIA has a very secret security program that nine Cryp Code programmers are working on. It is important that computer code and programs only be located on a secure server that is in a controlled and locked computer room with camera monitors. The programmers are not allowed to have any of the code on their own computers or to test the programs on their computers. At this point the programmers are taking turns working around the clock on the server console in the computer room. The Cryp Code partners ask if you have a recommendation to enable the programmers to work on this project from their own computers without having the code on their computers. What do you suggest and what are the advantages of your suggestion? Provide as much detail as you
