Suppose, you are hired by a small company to install a small Local Area Network (LAN) for its 20 windows
computers. Develop a simple LAN for that company and calculate the total cost considering cable types,
hubs/switches/routers and so on.
You can assume that the company has no network today and that the office is small enough that you do not
need to worry about cable length. You are required to show your proposed LAN design (a diagram will
clearly show the overall design), overall selection of networking devices (what devices and why these
devices) and the overall price for setting up the LAN.
Justify your design for LAN as well.
