  Details Scenario: A podcast/presentation by an industry-based professional HR manager will be provided in the learning materials. This presentation will discuss the importance of a well-designed and functional HR department in companies. Your task is to prepare a presentation for a Board of Directors of a company using the case study provided in which you create a HR standards framework for the new HR team. You are to draw from three professional associations, and use up to four organisational examples. You will present your HR standards framework in the form of an A4 Poster on the first page of your assignment. From the second page onwards, you will justify your choices of the HR functions and standards you have chosen from the three professional associations, and reflect upon the podcast. General feedback will be provided by HRM practitioners as part of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) component of this course. tips : it is important that put the a diagram of some kind of the areas of HR you think are most important. Put that on the first page. On the second page is where you justify your choices of areas/competencies. Please write in the first person perspective. As future HR professionals, you will always need to justify decisions, supported by research (i.e. best practice). three associations and four organisational examples? Three associations are AHRI, SHRM, HRNZ, and CIPD from the UK HR group( power point p1-p8). Basically, you need to refer to any combination of these. You might say something like "... this choice mirrors the AHRI model of excellence" for a particular area of HR that you choose for your assignment. The four organizational examples can be found at the end of the lecture slides.( power point p9-p15) But also, just to ground this assignment further in the corporate world and you need use an organizational example (e.g. Google) to lend further support to a HR area you have chosen.
