Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family. Paper details: I want to write about my experience at an orpahange at my grandfather's place. I have been regular at this orphange for last 4 yers spending 23 weeks during summer vacation. Just to begin with highlight me being lay who didn't value things and didn't have any dreams. Then my grandfather , who is regular contributor to this orphange, getting fed up with our behavior, forcibly took me there, while he distributed shoes and uniforms. In my first year there , i didn't realise much, just making them participate in sports acticvities. In the second year at orpahange, transition happened, as I saw 2 children were more intereested in what I am doing and and theyÕÉ≠†Њ† would like to follow that. Despite without much basic necessities and no parents, they had dreams and were really worked hard. In that year I enagegd them in maths and computers and helped them in their studies alongwith regular activities. and I kept on following them and I was surprised to see them perform well , getting along and being smarter. It simply overwhelemed me that if my just little help can make such a difference, for these underprivileged kids, then how come I don't have dreams, doesn't value what I have. It should end up with how this enegagement changed me into one who started appreciating the things I possed, valued whatever I have got and just dared to dream which I never did as I was afraid of failures and too conscious of what others would say and here were the boys, who didn't bother a dime about these things and just wanted to do it.
