For this essay, choose one social issue related to the family that you feel has significant importance. What research method (interviews, surveys, ethnography, experiments, etc.) would you use if you were to study the issue? Explain why that method fits your topic. Using the GGC library databases Sociological Collection (in EBSCO) and/or JSTOR, locate two articles from social science journals that address your topic and briefly describe their findings. Be sure to include all references used in the essay in a References Cited page using the APA format. The essay should be 3-5 pages typed and double-spaced and is due in the Dropbox by 5:00 pm on 11/11. Late papers receive a 5-point deduction for each day they are overdue, including weekends and holidays. This essay counts as 15% of your final grade and will be assessed for use of sociological concepts, critical analysis, and clarity of writing.
