Menzel The presentation should summarize briefly the article or chapter, and provide an analysis or a critique: what are the weaknesses and strengths of the author’s propositions? Are the concepts relatable, applicable, relevant? The oral presentation must go beyond the summarization of the article or chapter. Students who only offer a summary of the paper, without making an appraisal of the article’s relevance will be penalized. Students are invited to illustrate the article/chapter’s contribution in linking it to concrete examples. It is also strongly suggested that students make connections between the article and their own research topic and research paper. Evaluation criteria: the oral presentation should give an overview of what is discussed in the article or chapter and present both the relevance and limitations of the article or chapter. Please highlight with a RED color that part which you put on the power pint slide. Make sure the critics , analysis, and relevant parts mention and mark as well.
