Ethics and the Standford Prison "Experiment"

      Paper instructions: For this short written assignment, please write a 2-3 page reflection on why you think the Stanford prison "experiment" was ethical or not. In your reflection, you might consider one or more of the following in terms of modern ethics: Do you think the potential benefits outweighed the potential risks to participants? Did the experimenters protect the participants' autonomy? That is, were the participants free to participate or not, and were they free to terminate their participation at any time? Where do you think the experiment went ethically wrong, if at all? What did the researchers do or not do that you think was unethical? Would you do the same experiment today?
