This is a Thesis and Annotated Bibliography: given the complexity and importance of sources, students are to provide the topic, (the topic is Ethnic Violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo) then a 4-5 sentence research statement, (not an essay just 4-5 sentences) and then a annotated bibliography of 10 peer reviewed academic sources. Each annotated entry must be 2-3 sentences long. They are not summaries, but instead must explain how you will use the source.
