It has been suggested that a student’s course of studies tends to be related to the
type of political beliefs he/she may hold.
Assignment:

1. Operationalize the research question, perhaps by cross-classifying students by
   faculty and political party or by cross-classifying students major with their
   political party.
2. Construct a survey instrument (inclusive of a pre-test).
3. Interview at least 100 students. Due to COVID-19, you will not be interviewing
   students to collect the data. Instead, you can make mock data (fake data)
   to use in your analysis.
4. Perform a Chi-Square test on the data, both manually and on the computer.
5. What can you conclude at 5% level of significance?
6. Present your final conclusions in whatever manner you deem best for this type
   of report.
7. Are there any caveats or observations you would like to share with
   future researchers of this type of research question?
