Film review in a historic context

pick one of the films below to view. They range widely in terms of content, genre and themes, so try to get a sense of which might resonate with your own interests. All of these films have been regarded by critics and historians as historically or politically significant for a variety of reasons. Watch the film and take notes on everything you find interesting. What things surprise you? What aspects of the film seem to reflect the historical context in which they were made, and what parts might be regarded as dated or problematic from a contemporary perspective? How might a historian use the film as a primary source? In your paper, you need to review the film and give your analysis of what it's all about. The paper needs to: cite specific moments, quotes, and characters from the film offer your own assessment of the film's strengths and weaknesses cite at least two reviews of the film by critics or historians, at least one of which comments on the film's historical and/or political significance
