Framework and Curriculum Mapping

Write a three-sentence program mission statement. Write three measurable learning outcomes that align with the mission statement. Decide on the titles and sequencing of the courses in your RN or PN program (must have 5-7 courses identified). Determine the type of assignments that will measure each outcome (List those assignments under each outcome and identify which course the assignment is placed. If you do not have a format of how to describe the assignment, I suggest that you use UOP’s assignment descriptions as a guideline.) Decide on three assignments (give the assignment a name and provide a description), one assignment per outcome. Decide on where you would place one indirect measure and to which outcome(s) the indirect measure aligns. (Again, give the indirect measure or assessment a name and describe what will occur.) Using the Curriculum Map: Determine in which course students will complete each assignment and place the indication on the curriculum map. (All you will write on the curriculum map is the name of the assignment and what course it is placed. You do not need to write out the full description of the assignment on the curriculum map, because you have included that information in your Word document.)
