In what ways can an APRN distinguish his or her role from other nursing roles and medical counterparts? Why might this be important?
APRN roles though almost similar to other nurses since they all work to achieve a similar mission differ in some ways. An APRN can distinguish their roles from other nursing roles by the available distinct roles such as the difference in the ways and methods of delivery as other nurses deliver direct patient care as in the patient's health plan, while in the other hand APRNs deliver patient care using their plans with the help of other practitioners, unlike nurses handle any patient or all patients APRNs tend to deliver on one patient for long times, APRNs are responsible for the supervision of other medical staffs and in the APRNs learning they are taught and coached on their roles. The awareness of these roles will provide a good environment for work between the two, it will also save the APRNs from wasting time on nurse's roles.
