2) Provide a concise statement of facts, beginning with the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920, including a timeline of critical events impacting gender equality over the past century, the passage of Title IX, the landmark gender equity law of 1972, the Violence Against Women Act of 1994, through now, as the Pew Research Center reports, women on average earn 84% of what men do.
3) Consider recent laws passed in Texas, Florida and Oklahoma, calculated to reduce the access to abortion services and a century of landmark U.S. Supreme Court cases, from Buck v. Bell, 274 U.S. 200 (1927) to Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, 597 U. S. (2022), and/or policies from any other credible source.
4) Consider our nation’s Vice President currently holds the most powerful position of any woman in American history, that four of nine associate justices of the U.S. Supreme Court are women, and the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center reports nearly 60% of college students, from the 2021-22 academic year identify as women.
