Gender, Sexuality, or Race

Description Essay 2: Gender, Race, Sexuality Value: 150 points For your second essay, your task is to compose an argumentative essay on a topic of your choosing. It must be related to one of the following categories: Gender, Sexuality, or Race. You may choose a topic which falls under more than one category (For instance, if you're writing about the trouble for Latinas to identify as LGBTIQ, that would fall under potentially all three categories). The goal is to find a specific topic, develop an argument based on that topic, and really dive into it. This essay should be 5 full pages in length and utilize four sources. You are welcome to use any of the sources we have covered in class, or you may locate your own. You will also need a Works Cited page which does not count towards the overall 5 page requirement.
