Gun violence

Imagine you are running to be elected mayor of a town full of gun violence. You are asked to speak at a
town hall meeting full of concerned citizens. Considering the information provided by Fared Zakaria's
Global Lessons on Guns and using Wright's "The Man Who Was Almost a Man" as a cautionary tale, in
4-6 pages, create a speech that presents your points of view on gun ownership and gun violence, what
plans you have to address the issues, and how you plan on enforcing them (your response to these is
your thesis).
