Heck week 14: "Debate NO"

By now, we know that we can effectively and directly interfere with the pain and inflammation processes through nutritional intervention. We also know that
stress is a major cause of inflammation and therefore pain and pathology. Can we directly affect stress through nutritional intervention rather than the
downstream physiological effects of stress (pain and inflammation). For example, there are pharmaceutical interventions designed to directly affect
perceived stress such as Prozac vs. pharmaceutical interventions directed at the physiological effects of stress (ie. hydrochlorothiazide for high blood
pressure). Can we do something similar nutritionally or are we limited to addressing only the physiological effects of stress? Debate based on your assigned
position "No". Use one peer reviewed article
