How Altered Reality in TV Augments the Human Experience

In shows such as Westworld and The Walking Dead, the biggest ideas of the human mind are realized. From, a zombie apocalypse, to an amusement park of desires, anything goes. The distribution and marketing of this show add to the augmented human experience. Also, the themes surrounding these shows involve free will, our consciousness, and many other things. Violence has been portrayed in shows before but not like this. With the addition of the television on HBO it creates suspense for every episode.
