How will you measure your life?

This paper is based on two items:

  1. Your experiences as an MBA student in this class and other MBA classes, your
work experiences, and your personal experiences/observations over the last
    six months.
  2. The content of the Christensen article: “How will you measure your life?” See
    Module 7.
Consider your original goals when you started the MBA program and what you have
learned about business in these last couple of years and what you have learned about
    yourself.
Place this in the context of what has happened in the world over those years (war,
pestilence, riots, economic uncertainty, etc.) and how that has impacted your current and
future prospects, your goals and your outlook on life, and your values , i.e. what is really
important to you in business and as a human being. Consider the Christensen article,
written around the time of a major global economic crisis. What is different now? What
is similar now to what went on before?
Write a paper, 5 pages double-spaced, 12 point type and apply what you have learned as
well as the concepts and ideas in the article to your personal and career goals and your
    approach to life.
How Will I Measure My Life? When I started my MBA program, I had a few specific goals in mind. I wanted to learn more about business, develop my leadership skills, and network with other professionals. I also wanted to gain a better understanding of the world around me and how I could make a positive impact. Over the past few years, I have learned a great deal about business. I have studied different industries, frameworks, and strategies. I have also had the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience. In addition to learning about business, I have also learned a great deal about myself. I have become more confident in my abilities and more clear about my values. I have also learned the importance of balance in life and the need to take care of myself both physically and mentally. The world has changed a great deal since I started my MBA program. We have experienced war, pestilence, riots, and economic uncertainty. These events have had a profound impact on my current and future prospects, my goals, and my outlook on life. I have come to realize that what is really important to me in business and as a human being is to make a positive impact on the world. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help others and make the world a better place. I believe that the Christensen article, "How Will You Measure Your Life?", is still relevant today. The article challenges us to think about what is really important in life and how we should measure our success. It reminds us that money and possessions are not the most important things in life. What matters more is our relationships with others, our impact on the world, and our sense of purpose. I have come to agree with Christensen's view that the most important thing in life is to make a difference. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help others and make the world a better place. I believe that this is the best way to measure my success in life. What is Different Now? The world has changed a great deal since Christensen wrote his article in 2010. The global economy is more interconnected than ever before, and the pace of change is accelerating. These changes have created new challenges and opportunities for businesses and individuals. One of the biggest challenges that businesses face today is the rise of technology. Technology is changing the way that businesses operate and the way that consumers interact with businesses. Businesses that are not able to adapt to these changes will be left behind. Another challenge that businesses face today is the changing demographics of the workforce. The workforce is becoming more diverse, and businesses need to be able to attract and retain employees from different backgrounds. Businesses that are able to create a culture of inclusion will be more successful in the long run. What is Similar Now? Despite the changes that have taken place in the world, some things have remained the same. The importance of relationships, purpose, and values is still as important today as it was when Christensen wrote his article. These are the things that will ultimately determine our success in life, both personally and professionally. Conclusion I believe that the Christensen article is still relevant today. It provides us with a framework for thinking about what is really important in life and how we should measure our success. I am grateful for the opportunity to have read this article and to have reflected on its meaning. I believe that it will help me to make better decisions in the future and to live a more meaningful life. Personal and Career Goals Based on my reflections on the Christensen article, I have revised my personal and career goals. I now want to focus on using my skills and knowledge to help others and make the world a better place. I believe that this is the best way to measure my success in life. To achieve my goals, I plan to continue my education and to gain more experience in the business world. I also plan to get involved in my community and to volunteer my time to help others. I believe that I can make a difference in the world, and I am excited to start working towards my goals. I am confident that I will be able to achieve my goals and to live a meaningful life.
