I currently work in a call center. I handle credit applications for a wireless provider. agility and problem-solving have been priceless for me. The ability to adapt and change in an ever-changing industry has made me more efficient in my job. Problem-solving is a great skill to have in any industry. In my industry, some things come up that have not been faced before, and the ability to look at a situation and find a solution is a skill that I have to have. Now rather than having to go to someone else, I can solve the problem myself. This gives me more human capital. When my boss sees me doing this I get noticed and now I am on the fast track to being a supervisor. Investing in your human capital can provide you with a monetary reward.
