Informative Speech Presentation

In this next speech, you will be asked to present information about a topic that your audience should consider to be new, relevant, and easy to understand. General, overused, polarizing, or common topics will not be accepted. All topics must be approved prior to the presentation. Presenting a topic that was not originally approved may receive a poor grade or may not be graded. In addition to your speech, you must complete the following tasks: prepare a full-text outline manuscript (known as a preparation outline). The preparation outline will be accompanied by a reference page (the APA version of a work cited page). An extemporaneous version of your outline (known as the delivery outline) will be created to help serve as your notes for your presentation and will be submitted on the day of your presentation. You will spend time reflecting on your experience so that you may determine areas of strength and areas which may need improvement.
