Literature in the last 10 years should be reviewed. A minimum of 8 references are required.
If you use articles published before 2005 you must justify why they are important to be included in the review. Some reasons might be – they are either a seminal work or no other recent literature exists on the topic.
Of the 8 references, at least 6 should be from peer reviewed academic journals.
** You can also include a relevant chapter or part of a chapter from any HRM text, newspaper articles dealing with HRM issues, HRM magazines, HRM research case studies, conference proceedings, and articles published by professional associations such as AHRI or CIPD.
