Throughout this course, I have engaged in discussions and explored various topics related to the education field. As I reflect upon what has been discussed thus far, I find that my qualities and characteristics align well with my chosen level of education, which is middle school.
Middle school is a crucial phase in a student’s life where they undergo significant physical, emotional, and cognitive changes. It requires educators who are patient, empathetic, and skilled in building relationships with young adolescents. These qualities resonate with me, as I genuinely enjoy working with this age group and find fulfillment in guiding them through their formative years.
The discussions in this course have reinforced my belief that being a reflective practitioner is essential to being an effective educator.
