Knowledge of PROBATION AND PAROLE theories, terminology, concepts, and strategies

Examine the history and development of probation and parole in the correctional system. What are the four reasons for probation and the goals achieved throughout the process? What are the types of parole and the conditions that are often assigned to the offender? In addition, what kind of collaboration and accountability is necessary to ensure the proper execution of these correctional methods (e.g. probation officers, parole officers)? When answering these questions, please be sure to consider the impact that these forms of communi​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​ty corrections have on the correctional process. Items to include are outlined as follows: ?
