Kathy is a makeup artist. One of Lady Gaga's ("Gaga") publicists reach out to her to be the exclusivemakeup artist for Gaga. Kathy is excited and goes to see Gaga. Gaga tells her, "I'd like you to be here3 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. because that is when we shoot our music videos." The job isfor 2 months. Gaga tells her to send her publicist an invoice at the end of every week and hermanager will send her a check. Kathy brings her own makeup kit. With her other clients, Kathy getsto set her own hours and schedule but Gaga is a better celebrity client and wants Kathy there 9:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the set to do the makeup 3 days a week. At the end of the week, Kathycalculates her invoice for payment (20 hours at $30/hour) and sends Gaga's publicist the invoice.The publicist sends Kathy a check for $600.
