Letter to the President

In this assignment, you will write a one to two-page letter to President Biden about an issue that concerns you.
Purpose: To share information and to possibly to persuade him/influence policy so that your idea can be taken into account/implemented.
Audience: President Joseph R. Biden
Getting started:
Consider an issue which potentially affects you or about which you feel strongly.
Do some research about his position on this issue. Look at multiple news sources. Be a critical reader and thinker as you do this research. Remember, you
can rely upon news sources such as Reuters, AP, the major networks and newspapers such as New York Times, Washington Post, Washington Times. You
can also consult these websites and look at the League of Women Voters website to see where the candidates stood on issues during the election.
Synthesize your thoughts and think about your audience. How will you make the strongest appeal to the President? Do you think he would agree or disagree
with your ideas? Think about how that will impact what you will write.
