Scenario: Jim is a grocery store supervisor. He is often sought after for his ability to listen and give good advice. Even though his door is "always open," Jim has fallen behind in his work. He sees his relationships as important, but cannot keep up with increasing work demands.
We all know someone (maybe we are that person) who others turn to often for advice. They are most likely good listeners. However, they also need to know how to protect their time.
