How well do Marie de France's French Knights adhere to the Chivalric Code?
Can you show evidence from "Lanval" or "Laustic" that they either do or don't successfully follow some aspect of the code?
Here's the list from last week:
-- A knight should believe all that the Church teaches and observe all its directions. He should defend the Church.
-- A knight should respect all weaknesses, and should always be a the defender of the weak. He should always be protect the defenseless, clerics, peasants, widows, virgins, etc.
