MKTG 331 Research Paper Order Description   Our first paper is due Sunday, November 12th; post to the Dropbox by 11:59PM. We will be discussing Tweens (NOT GEN Z; Tweens are a subset of Gen Z), Gen Y and Gen X. Write on ALL THREE demographics. Our second paper is due Sunday, December 3rd; post to the Dropbox by 11:59PM. We will be discussing Baby Boomers, Seniors (anyone over 65 - a boomer is always a boomer, due to birth years, regardless of age), and ONE CURRENT AMERICAN SUBCULTURE OF YOUR CHOICE. Write on all three demographics but for your subculture DO NOT WRITE ABOUT AFRICAN-AMERICANS, HISPANIC-AMERICANS OR ASIAN-AMERICANS; FYI: ‘White America’ is not a subculture. The subculture must be one that current marketers are interested in reaching. INFO REQUIRED IN EACH PAPER AND POINTS: THIS IS THE INFO REQUIRED IN EACH PAPER; Each paper is worth a total of 75 points, as follows: Demographics and basic info: determined by birth years (or, for tweens, age span) and basic info; 4 pts each for Tweens, Gen X and Gen Y, a total of 12 pts; this is the same for Paper 2. Attitude: 4 pts for each demo, 12 pts total; what is the attitude of the cohort? What happened during their lives and how did/do they feel about those events? Product Development: 4 pts for each demo, 12 pts total; what product/service would you recommend be developed/sold to this group and why? Marketing: 4 pts for each demo, 12 pts total; what MEDIA would you use to reach the group and what MESSAGE would you deliver?
