Discuss the truth that as adults, we need to model responsible and positive behaviors for our students. During Week 2, keep a food journal via Google Slides of everything you consume each day for 3 consecutive days and evaluate your own personal nutrition. Please dedicate at least one new slide to each day (if not 2-3). This means your presentation will be at minimum 3 slides long. At the end of each day’s entry, please identify how many servings of each food group you consumed for the day, and in no less than a paragraph, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your diet that specific day. Once 3 days have been completed, please complete a 1-2 page summary paper discussing how an activity modeled after this one could be valuable if adapted and incorporated in your future elementary classroom for the grade of your choice. In addition to that, discuss how you can model good nutrition habits for your students.
