Review a film’s portrayal of the character with one of the neurodevelopmental disorders discussed in Chapter 2 and address the following:
a) Analyze the character’s behaviors portrayed in the film in terms of the symptom picture described in Chapter 2
b) Evaluate whether further information is needed to support a DSM diagnosis and, if so, determine what is missing
c) Is the character’s portrayal of the diagnosis is realistic
d) Evaluate character’s the quality of life and the influence of family, friends and others connected to the character with a specific diagnosis
