Pretend you are in charge of a group of children aged 2 to 6. You are responsible for their care from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You must provide safe and quality care for the children.
Describe in detail what you will do for each day of the typical work week (Monday through Friday) to meet their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development needs. As part of this for each day, you should explicitly state what activities you will do (what will you do and why, how long will each activity last, how will you transition, explain how they are age appropriate, etc.). Each day you must provide three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and two snacks (morning/afternoon). Explicitly state what each meal and snack consist of and how you are meeting their nutritional needs in a healthy way.
How are you going to meet their various cognitive needs and social-emotional needs throughout the course of the day?
What other factors might you consider during the day and why?
You must justify the actions you are taking through connection back to the developmental theories such as Piaget's cognitive developmental theory, Vygotsky's theory, Freud's psychoanalytic theory, Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Development, Pavlov's Theory of Classical Conditioning, Skinner's Theory of Operant Conditionin
