  After reading Orhan Pamuk’s novel Snow, choose to respond to one (1) of the following two topics: Option 1: In Orhan Pamuk’s postmodern novel, Snow, the protagonist, Ka, goes to Kars to “get the girl,” but then he winds up dead. The reader does not know who killed Ka, but you can play detective: Who do you think killed Ka, and based on what evidence? Option 2: In Orhan Pamuk’s novel, Snow, Ka, a secular Turkish poet, writes a cycle of poems entitled Snow in his green notebook. The notebook is stolen, perhaps by someone who does not like the poems.What do you think those poems might have said?
