  Respond 1 page In other countries that do not have opioid medications, pain is very well managed in other ways. How does culture play a role in pain? Do you see pain as functional at times? Do you believe it could be a protective mechanism in not permitting the body to do things it is not ready to do while in a healing phase? Why or why not?
