You will be researching a policy issue and creating a policy brief and proposal based on your research. You must approve your policy issue with the instructor to ensure it is a
social welfare policy by the third week of class.
Your policy research will be guided using a framework in the Majchrzak and
Markus suggested textbook that has detailed instructions and steps. You will include a section in the analysis that relates to the
implementation of this policy (history and how it was implemented). There is a
section that requires you to propose a change-based advocacy project related to
one of your recommendations.
