• Quality Challenges – Utilizing Quality Problems in Behavioral Health (Hersen&Sturmey, 2012, pp. 60-61), assess how the select program addresses or suffers from the issues of quality.
• Cost Effectiveness – Utilizing Measuring the Costs of an EBP (Hersen&Sturmey, 2012, pp. 106-111), assess the selected program for how it meets or fails the test cost-effectiveness for an EBP.
• Self-Reflection – Student will provide a self-reflection, based on the information presented, to report if the selected program should be deemed and evidence-based program. This should go beyond the effectiveness data to include all the criteria in this program evaluation. In addition, reflect and discuss where you stand on why on the following:
o EBP as a movement has had a major influence on the mental health field, yet no requirements are in place that mandates their use at this time. There are many detractors who believe that EBPP’s are nothing more than treatment manuals that erode the art of being a good therapist.
