Readings comparison
Write an essay (2400 words) in which you compare any two readings in the course. Do not merely summarize these works or simply conjoin two essays. Instead, develop an interpretation of these texts that compares and evaluates their significance to the field of rhetorical studies. How do the texts, taken together, shed light on a fundamental problem or issue in rhetorical studies? The important thing is to find an interesting and significant point of comparison that illuminates both texts and unifies your essay. In other words, develop a thesis (interpretation) that guides your comparison of the two texts and then provide an argument to support your thesis. Be sure to support your argument with relevant citations from the text.
