Safety Officer Description

            EMS organizations have not always had an EMS safety officer, depending on the type of organization. The EMS safety officer should have a specific job description that outlines the responsibilities of the position and provides a baseline by which to evaluate the performance of the individual in that position. For this project, you will need to construct a job description that includes the following elements: job title, scope or summary of the position, job duties or tasks, work environment and performance standards, and minimum qualifications.
