Carefully read and view the "Resources" and video for "Social Equity"
Once you have considered the themes presented in each of the resources you select, compose an Essay of least 150-200 words speaking to the following three items:
How you define “Social Inequality” providing “real-time” examples of inequality.
What actions and/or attitudes would you adopt as remedy for the social ills you referenced in your response to Part 1, and
Where, and/or how, do you, as a Labouré nursing student, see yourself being most effective in becoming aware of, and/or responding to, challenges met by marginalized people you meet, or will meet in your healthcare practice.
Be sure to reference / quote in your Essay the insights presented in the resources you have opted to review.
Recall, in addition to earning an academic Degree and forming clinical competencies, venues to develop your leadership skills with the Student Government Association (SGA) and / or Student Nurse Association (SNA) while attending Labouré will provide opportunities to be compassionately attentive to those with material needs.
