Spanish explorers in the new world

Y‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍ou read a number of sources during Module 2 regarding the European "discovery" of the New World and the multiple reactions and responses Europeans and indigenous Americans had towards each other. The primary sources were in two categories: explorers' journals and critics. Choosing the several sources from one of the categories, write an analytical paper analyzing either how explorers described their "discoveries" and those that lived there in order to gain support for their endeavors, or how critics of Spanish colonialism understood the situation in the new world. For the former, what elements did the explorers emphasize and why? What were the possible benefits? For the latter, what were the proble‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍ms as they understood them and what were the solutions? What end result did the critics want? If possible, try to write this paper thematically. That means organizing the paper's paragraphs around themes using multiple sources in that paragraph instead of devoting one paragraph per source. The second is easier to organize at first glance, but it also tends towards summary instead of analysis. All papers (short and long) must be in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with one inch margins. That is the prompt, and I chose to write about the explorers journals. I need all three sources to be used in it, and preferably using multiple sources in one paragraph. Only citing needing is the last name after a quote‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍.
