State Legislation Speech Outline

You are a policy maker in your state, and you want to better support those individuals,
specifically women, involved in sex work and pornography. To bring your case forward
to the state legislation you will need to develop an outline for a speech you will give. In
the speech you will share current state laws regarding sex work, conditions and
challenges faced by current sex workers, and at least 2-3 specific legislation and/or
policies you would like to pass in your state.
Instructions:

• Major bullet points on current state laws, conditions of sex workers, and
  legislation you wish to pass.
• At least 3 minor bullet points under each major bullet point providing information
  on the specific topic.
• Be sure to write in full sentences in your outline with enough information to speak
  to the requirements above.
  EXAMPLE

1. Major bullet point #1- Current state laws regarding sex work
   a. Minor bullet point #1- Example of state law
   b. Minor bullet point #2 Example of state law
   c. Minor bullet point #3- Example of state law
   Requirements:

• 2-3 page outline with 3 major bullet points (Current laws, conditions and
  challenges of sex workers, and suggested legislation)
• and at least 3 minor bullet points per major bullet point (at least 9 total).
