Part 1:
During my time as a teaching assistant at a local elementary school, I had the opportunity to observe a particularly impactful episode of learning for one of the students. This episode focused on the development of the student’s social skills and their understanding of empathy.
The student, who I will refer to as Alex, was known for being withdrawn and having difficulties forming connections with their peers.
