The announcement concerns a management change for MidEastern
The announcement concerns a management change for MidEastern, which has been
underperforming of late. The Company has decided to replace its current CEO, Sarah Conrad,
due to non-public substance abuse problems that have affected her ability to effectively lead
the organization. MidEastern’s Board of Directors has formed a selection committee to lead
the search for the next CEO and is also working with an executive search firm. Chairman
Javier Rodriguez will act as interim CEO until a replacement is found.
MidEastern also wants to disclose that they are considering a sale of the Company’s
newspaper division, which has been underperforming as people switch to online news
sources.
